Call for Info

I love to ride bikes, but don't like doing so when it's bitter cold outside or while it's snowing - both of which tend to happen in the winter here in Utah. In years past, I snowshoed in the winter on the bad days, but haven't done so in a while. I'd like to remedy this, but don't want to waste time driving up AF Canyon until the snow is deep enough to bother. So, have any of you been up there since the last snow? If so, is it deep enough yet?

The most recent report I have is from Saturday morning. The Utah Velo Club started from Tibble Fork reservoir and reported there wasn't enough snow. They ditched the snowshoes and hiked the thin snow in boots. If I hear anything more recent I'll comment.

Perhaps a little redundant now, but I called Sundance to see if they had and CX ski trails groomed. The report is that they only have about 4-5 inches of snow right now, but their hoping for more in the next 24 hours.

By the way, you better not go snowshoing without calling me first. Ever.

As if you needed this: Stan from the Utah Velo Club went up Pine Hollow today and reports there is plenty of snow and the snowshoeing was good.
