RFM
This is a blatant request for music. As much as a creature of habit as I am, the current training mix on my iPod is killing me. I'm looking for some good, new-to-me training tunes. I'm really up for anything as my current mix includes stuff from Boz Scaggs to Morrissey to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! I'm looking for a good rhythm. So, help a bradda out. Please.

Are you only looking for stuff with a beat to keep your cadence/stride? Because that's a little harder. If you're open to anything, I've got some suggestions.
Kalai
Amos Lee
Beck (Guero)
Ben Harper
Brett Dennen
Cub Country
Saves the Day
Eric Gofrain (Strung out on OK computer)
Hey Mercedes
Jets to Brazil
Junction 18
Jurassic 5
Lagwagon
Mad Caddies
Me First & The Gimme Gimmes
Millencolin
Nickel Creek
Pele
The Postal Service
Regina Spektor
Toots
and Weezer.
That's a smattering of what I've been listening to lately.
I'm sure I could fill up your ipod with songs that could annoy you to the core, thereby making you want to go faster in order to get done with your workout faster. Imagine this: songs sung by yours truly. I'll get on it.
Metric
Stellastarr
Santogold
The National
Broken Social Scene
Stars
Rogue Wave
Carolina Liar
Ivy
Tegan and Sara
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Editors
Interpol
Film School (total lsd stuff, real mellow)
Silversun Pickups
That is the sort of stuff on my iPod.
I'm with Morkthefied. Let's load it up!
How 'bout a little John Denver?
Just this week I revisited a local Mesa AZ band called Authority Zero (yes, those mesa boys are very clever....A.Z.) I have seen them twice in concert and both times I was concerned that I was going to get trampled in the mosh pit that formed around me. Really, their music is mediocre, but it is loud and fast. If you are looking for something to get you going, AZ will do it. Think Rage mixed with Sublime.
You can't go wrong with Bob Marley!
